Quite a fun mornings racing with far fewer boats than were expected, but with the skippers racing for the first time a couple of years. It was fun with not too many collisions, and also avoidance of the other boats on the water made it a bit more interesting.Â
We will have to try again on another spare day when and if the weed lets us.🤞

Our annual barge get together. Bring your model sailing barges along and sail them together with other skippers. Currently there does not appear to be any weed problems. Other models more than welcome, but there will be a good proportion of canvas on the lake. It is forecast to be ideal sailing conditions. So come along and enjoy the day.
Pictures from the Thames barge match on Wednesday. A cold blustery day greeted the skippers. But they were up for the challenge even if the boats struggled sometimes. Thanks to John S. for the pictures and video.
Our monthly club meeting. We will enjoy an evening sailing on the lake, assuming reasonable weather, then a chat and drinks in the club house with maybe a meal in between. Share updates on your latest projects, and activities with fellow members.
A BIG thank you to all those that could make it. Over 30 boats and 25 members in attendance.
Thank you to Jake for the images, to Dave S. and Mike O. for the additional pictures and video. Congratulations to Allan P. and Stuart W. for their awards.
